My name is Rob and I’m currently working as a Game Designer at Large Animal Games.
I grew up in the small town of Holliston, Massachusetts, before moving to New York upon enrolling in NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. There I majored in Film, but also concentrated on Game Studies and Design, as well as the Japanese Language before earning my BFA in 2011.
My concentration on game design began when I took several courses at the developing NYU Game Center. The games I made there included a puzzle-platformer, text-adventure, a board game, and a physical game.
At the Parsons x Babycastles 2011 game jam, my solo entry, Stones (now called Coral) won the Juror’s 1st Prize award.
The Escort Quest, a Big Game I co-designed at NYU, has also been officially selected as part of Indiecade’s 2011 Big Games program as well as Come Out and Play: San Francisco 2011 and the 2011 DC Games festival.
